Aquilo reveal the video for their new EP’s title track ‘Calling Me’. Once again the Silverdale duo bring an emotive beauty inline with the all-encompassing nature of their cinematic pop. Directed by David Silis, the video’s protagonist finds the courage to lead him forward set to the backdrop of Aquilo’s unmistakably intimate sound.
Calling Me marks the third instalment of EP releases from Aquilo, each one consecutively providing an increasingly impressive insight into the duo’s talent for writing arresting and atmospheric pop songs. The band’s themes of love and heartbreak are delivered through a filter of beautifully striking and impeccably produced compositions that provide a depth and intimacy few others execute so effortlessly.
The ‘Calling Me’ EP is out on B3SCI / Island Records on May 31st.
The band have been playing a number of flawless live shows including sold out appearances at St Pancras Old Church and Wilton’s Music Hall, leaving audiences speechless with their immersive performances. The band’s next stop is at Village Underground in London on June 23rd
