Aquilo have just revealed the video for their new single Good Girl, courtesy of director Jack King. Matching the band’s previous emotive and touching visuals, Good Girl’s narrative follows a girl as she wrestles with breaking free from an imminent rite of passage, acting on impulse and indulging in a night of escapism before needing to come to terms with whether she goes back or heads forth.
The band have stepped up the pace with the new single but not forgoing the emotive lyrics tied to their core and that’s very much reflected in the narrative of the video.
The single is out now and they’ve been working with SOHN and Olafur Arnalds on the album, which we can expect a release next year on Island Records.
