B Boys hit us with a modern take on old Beastie Boys videos with “Energy”. “We wanted the city background not only to be the scene and location of the shoot but to live and breathe as another character with all of it’s grit, grime, and beauty. The overall tone is meant to be indicative of the song’s title all the while balancing a line of being serious and sarcastic.” Check out the debut via CLRVYNT who’ve described B Boys as “Devo-like” and “a good-ass time”.
“Energy” is B Boys first single from their debut full-length Dada due out June 16 on Captured Tracks. Next month they set out on a full North American tour with Merchandise. Highlights include NYC, LA, Seattle, SF, Portland and more. Check below for a full list of dates.
