A poignant country ballad by BlackHawk, released on August 22, 1994, as the third single from their self-titled debut album. Co-written by Walt Aldridge and John Jarrard, the song uses the metaphor of an impending storm to depict the narrator’s awareness of an approaching breakup. It reached number 9 on both the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart and the Canadian RPM Country Tracks chart. The music video, directed by Marius Penczner, visually portrays the emotional weight of an imminent separation.
