The Beatles, with Ringo Starr on vocals, covered it in 1965. In 1989, Owens and Starr collaborated on a duet version, blending traditional and modern country styles. The accompanying music video humorously portrays them as bumbling cowboys on a Western movie set, highlighting their playful chemistry. This version peaked at number 27 on the Billboard Country chart, marking Owens’ final top 40 hit and Starr’s sole appearance on that chart.
