Club Kuru – Giving In
Club Kuru – Giving In (2017)
Directed by: Laurie Erskine
Off the back of their recent Waiting At The Corner EP release, British five-piece band Club Kuru have today unveiled the new video for their single ‘Giving In’. Premiering on BEAT, front-man Laurie Erskine says of the inspiration behind the video:
“I was thinking of an old man looking back on his life and his relationships. The ménage à trois he still dreams of, the lost love and the bad choices he made, so this song’s like a little snippet from his dreams and his nightmares. Where did he go wrong?”
Waiting At The Corner EP is a collection of songs showcasing the new line up and sonic evolution from what was originally Erskine’s solo project. The EP features the singles ‘Not For Me’, ‘Tonight’ and ‘Giving In’, as well as new cuts ‘Ribbons’ and ‘Wednesday’s Boy’. Support for the release has come from Nowness, DIY, The Line of Best Fit, Crack Magazine, Indie Shuffle, BBC Radio 1, BBC 6Music, Noon Pacific and more.
