Dierks Bentley’s ‘Somewhere on a Beach,’ released in 2016 from his album ‘Black,’ tells the story of a man moving on from a breakup by enjoying a tropical getaway and finding new romance. Written by Michael Tyler, Jaron Boyer, Alexander Palmer, Dave Kuncio, and Josh Mirenda, the song became Bentley’s 14th number-one hit on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. The music video, directed by Wes Edwards and filmed in Puerto Morelos, Mexico, visually portrays this narrative of healing and new beginnings.
