Ed Sheeran’s “2step” is a pop-rap track from his 2021 album “=” (Equals). The song reflects on Sheeran’s experiences with stress and finding solace in music and companionship. A notable remix featuring American rapper Lil Baby was released on April 22, 2022, as the album’s fifth and final single. The accompanying music video, directed by Henry Scholfield, was filmed in Kyiv, Ukraine, prior to the 2022 Russian invasion. In response to the unfolding events, Sheeran announced that all royalties from YouTube streams of the video would be donated to support Ukraine.
