Rednecker is a tongue-in-cheek country anthem by HARDY, released on March 4, 2019, as the lead single from his debut EP *This Ole Boy*. Co-written by Michael Hardy, Andy Albert, and Jordan Schmidt, and produced by Joey Moi and Dave Cohen, the song playfully asserts HARDY’s superior “redneck” credentials over others. The accompanying music video, directed by Justin Clough and filmed on a farm in Cottontown, Tennessee, features HARDY and his friends engaging in stereotypical redneck activities, such as mudding, mattress surfing, and paintballing, embodying the song’s humorous take on rural pride.
