Husky – Drunk
Husky – Drunk (2015)
Directed by: Josh Thomas
After two acclaimed album releases, a multitude of shows across the nation (including tours with Neil Young and Gotye) and a swag of song-writing awards, Husky are leaving their beloved Melbourne, not to mention friends, families and dogs, to set their sights on European skies.
The exciting relocation follows the release of Husky’s celebrated second LP Ruckers Hill and recent signings to Embassy of Music in Europe and Nevado in America. The move will strengthen Husky’s ever-growing presence with audiences abroad and see the band continue to promote Ruckers Hill on a global level from their new base of Berlin. The added new sights and sounds of a European sojourn will also form a fresh backdrop for the band, as they begin penning their third record.
Much like its predecessor Forever So, Ruckers Hill has already made waves throughout Europe following its April release. Lead single ‘I’m Not Coming Back’ is winning hearts at German radio, recently hitting #55 on their Hot 100 radio chart. The album is slated for release in America on June 2.
The new venture has already started with a bang, with the boys currently in the middle of a far reaching European tour, encompassing towns in Austria, France, Germany, The Netherlands and Switzerland. They will also support James Vincent McMorrow on June 7 in The Netherlands.
Husky leave Australian fans with a gem of a clip for the luscious ‘Drunk’, from Ruckers Hill. The enthralling video was created by the talented production team at Oh Yeah Wow (Gotye, Bombay Bicycle Club).
