Sad Forever is a deeply personal track by Lauv, released on May 31, 2019, as the third single from his debut studio album, *How I’m Feeling*. The song addresses Lauv’s struggles with mental health, including OCD and depression, and aims to destigmatize these issues. All proceeds from the song are donated to mental health organizations such as Time to Change and Beyond Blue. The accompanying music video, directed by Jenna Marsh, was filmed in one take during Lauv’s concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Manila, Philippines, on May 20, 2019, capturing the raw emotion of the live performance.
