Anthemic Yorkshire rockers Of Allies are proud to present their new single and video ‘ONE19‘, the first from their upcoming EP Fragments, out May 11. Staying true of the band’s increasingly heavier and darker direction, ‘ONE19‘s video is a compelling and subversive watch and a tribute to the band’s DIY aesthetic.
In an electrifying 5-song collection, Of Allies prove the attention they deserve. A darker, faster, louder release than its critically acclaimed predecessor, Fragments is a swaggering and anthemic record which goes far beyond its relatively brief running time. Although taking inspiration from both sides of the Atlantic, as much Deaf Havana as Deftones, Fragments has an undeniably British stamp, a thick, multi-layered sound that is fast becoming this band’s trademark.
Of Allies have already caught the eyes and ears of the British press, including Kerrang and Marshall Amps, as well as radio play on Huw Stephens’ Radio 1 show and BBC Introducing. With plenty of upcoming live dates (including a BBC Introducing live session) and new material already being written, the sky’s the limit for Of Allies.
