A tender, artful single from her 2006 album *Begin to Hope*, “Better” blends poetic lyrics with a quietly infectious piano-rock arrangement. Directed by Marc Webb and produced in two versions (the official 2007 release and an alternate 2006 version), the music video features Spektor and a charming chorus of miniature “Reginas” wandering in a field, creating a playful, surreal atmosphere. Released October 27, 2007, and nominated for Best Alternative Video at the 2008 MVPA Awards, it became a standout in her visual catalog.
