A spirited anthem about seeking fulfillment beyond the daily grind, “Something More” is the second single from Sugarland’s debut album, *Twice the Speed of Life*. Released on April 11, 2005, the song was penned by all three original members: Jennifer Nettles, Kristian Bush, and Kristen Hall. The music video, directed by Paul Boyd, features the trio traveling down a dirt road in a Cadillac that breaks down. Nettles continues the journey alone, hitchhiking via various vehicles, interspersed with scenes of her on a beach at sunset, symbolizing the quest for something greater. The video premiered on CMT’s Top 20 Countdown on April 28, 2005.
