Friend or Foe is a song by Russian duo t.A.T.u., released in December 2005 as the second single from their second English-language album, *Dangerous and Moving*. Written by Dave Stewart and Martin Kierszenbaum, the track features bass guitar by Sting and cover art photographed by Bryan Adams. The song explores ambiguous relationships and received positive reviews for its dance nature and lyrical content. The accompanying music video, directed by James Cox, was filmed in the Bronson Caves of Los Angeles, depicting the duo performing in a cave setting. Despite favorable reviews, the single achieved moderate chart success, reaching the top 40 in several countries.
