Since I managed to see a one-off intimate Taking Back Sunday show in London a few weeks ago, I’ve been playing their records non-stop, and remembering just how much love I have for the quirky alternative rock quintet. The five piece have just released their sixth album, titled Happiness Is, which is the second album where the band have returned to much of their original line up, and unlike their previous hit-or-miss self-titled album from 2011, this record has a lot more punchy choruses and hearty rhythms. Not forgetting their roots, but allowing for progression, Taking Back Sunday are stronger than ever, and still a forceful act in the alternative rock scene.
