You Might Think, released in 1984 as part of Heartbeat City, is a signature track from The Cars. Known for its catchy, synth-driven sound, the song was accompanied by a groundbreaking music video directed by Jeff Stein. Utilizing early computer-generated imagery (CGI), the video was one of the first of its kind, winning the first-ever MTV Video Music Award for Video of the Year. Its innovative visuals, with lead singer Ric Ocasek interacting with surreal animated effects, helped solidify its place in music video history.
