Crackerbox Palace is a whimsical track from George Harrison’s 1976 album “Thirty Three & 1/3”. The song was inspired by a visit to comedian Lord Buckley’s estate, which he called “Crackerbox Palace.” The promotional music video was directed by Eric Idle of “Monty Python” fame and aired on “Saturday Night Live” in 1976. The video features playful, surreal imagery, including cameos by Idle and Harrison’s wife Olivia.
