“Wide Open” pairs Beck’s processed vocals with The Chemical Brothers’ most restrained production in years, trading their usual festival-sized builds for something closer to anxious ambience. Directors Dom and Nic follow a single dancer through stark landscapes and brutalist architecture, her body contorting through increasingly surreal physical trials. The performance was shot across multiple countries with dancer Sonoya Mizuno, who trained in ballet before turning to acting.
