Colbie Marie Caillat ( KOHL-bee kal-AY; born May 28, 1985) is an American singer-songwriter. She rose to fame on the social networking website Myspace in 2005. She signed with Universal Republic Records to release her debut studio album, Coco (2007), which was supported by the singles "Bubbly" and "Realize", peaked at number five on the Billboard 200, and received double platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
