The band consists of the Hawkins brothers Justin Hawkins (vocals, guitar) & Dan Hawkins (guitar), Frankie Poullain (bass) and Rufus Tiger Taylor (drums). The Darkness came to prominence with the release of their debut album, Permission to Land, in 2003.
